Rene’ Santana is currently the Local Sales Manager for Clear Channel Outdoor in the DFW market with a sales team of 14 salespeople. She began her career as a Local Account Executive for four years and then was promoted to LSM and eventually GSM for 20+ years.
Her background includes 15 years working in the Food and Beverage industry in Dallas, Texas and 25 years working in the Broadcast Advertising field in El Paso, Midland, the Texoma Region, Azteca Television and now Clear Channel Outdoor in Dallas, Texas. Her forte is creating unique and individual solutions for each advertiser that is designed to achieve their specific marketing goals utilizing as many tools in her toolbox as possible.
This Idea Based selling approach has proven successful at each station she has managed. Her passion lies in sales training and mentorship, in which she has written several training programs and has a continued education effort weekly in her sales meetings.
She is known as the Icebreaker Queen. She has been an active Rotarian where she served as the Chair for the fundraising effort of the Celebrity Chef Gala and co-founder of the Wild West Wine Fest. She was awarded the Service Above Self honor and continues to serve in the Irving-Las Colinas Rotary Club.
She has also served on many community boards such as the Chamber of Commerce, United Blood Services, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Children’s Miracle Network. She maintains a blog and Facebook page called Double D Wisdom aimed at building a women centric community to foster collaboration and shared experiences. She has a fine dining and wine enthusiasm and enjoys cooking, wine education and travel.
